from the previous announcement.
The new venue is Chun Hui Yuan Hotel, Beijing,
and the new schedule is
from May 14th evening (at around 19:00pm)
to May 16th noon.

The Seventh Asian Workshop on Foundations of Software (AWFS) addresses
foundational problems in current and future software design,
development, and analysis. The previous AWFS meetings were held in
Hangzhou in 2002, Nanjing in 2003, Xi'an in 2004, Beijing in 2005,
Xiamen in 2007,
and
Tokyo in 2009.
The aim of this workshop is to
stimulate various activities leading to the formation of new forums for
Asian researchers in the foundational
aspects of software science and technology.
Topics
Specific topics for AWFS 2010 include (but are not limited to):
- Formal methods and artificial intelligence for software development
- Logics of programs, program generation, transformation, evolution, and reasoning
- Programming language design and semantics, programming methodologies and paradigms
- Symbolic computation
- Software development methodologies, tools, and environments
- Software specification, verification, testing, analysis, refinement, and model checking
- Software architectures, software reuse, and user interface design
- Software for distributed, parallel, web/Internet-based, and mobile computing
- Software engineering in multi-agent systems and service-oriented computing
- Empirical studies of software tools and methods

Potential participants of AWFS 2010 are invited to submit
abstracts of 1-2 pages for the work
to be presented at the workshop.
Abstracts (in pdf) should be submitted electronically to
the program co-chairs.
The submitted abstracts will be judged on its significance, technical
quality, and the relevance to AWFS.
